Shonna Lamb, E-RYT 500, YACEP
owner + director

Shonna is trained in Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha-based Anusara, Mindfulness, Meditation, Samkhya Philosophy, and Yoga Nidra, all of these disciplines she actively practices. A forever student, she has had the honour of studying under Erin Evans, Lydia Zamorano, Curran Watts and Sasha Bahador for the past 10 years, accumulating over 1,500 hours of direct study; including 2 - 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Intensives since 2019.

With over 2,500 teaching hours under her belt so far, she’s continually drawn to alignment-based principles, creative freedom, the lore of yogic philosophy and hip hop + punk rock.

Shonna teaches locally at Harvest Yoga Studio, and owns and operates Pop Up Yoga Lethbridge; aiming to bring the talents of local teachers to the community. She is the owner of Lethbridge’s first (and for now, only) yoga school, Agni Yoga, and facilitates Yoga Alliance accredited 200 Hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Trainings.

During the first 18 months of the Pandemic, Shonna was graced with leading Trauma Informed Yoga with a research team from the U of L, as part of clinical studies on measuring the effect of the pandemic on the well-being of particular age groups and the effect yoga, mindfulness and meditation interventions had on these groups.

In the 600 hours a year she gets to spend in the many different yoga communities, the common denominator is that she is left in awe of the human spirit.
